Physiotherapist, Reflexologist and Acupuncturist

I’m registered with CORU, state regulatory body for Physiotherapy, and hold a B.Sc. in Applied Health Sciences and Physical Therapy. I have also practised Acupuncture and Reflexology for many years, having studied and worked in some of the top teaching hospitals in China.

My areas of particular interest include fertility and pregnancy, stress management and pain management / sports injuries, but we treat a very wide range of conditions in our clinic. I’m really passionate about ensuring that we get to the root cause of a condition, and that we focus on a solid plan for making sure that issues do not reoccur.

Sinéad Dunleavy

Sinead holds a B.Sc. in Applied Health Sciences and Physical Therapy, and is registered with CORU, the state regulatory body for Physiotherapy. She has also practised Acupuncture and Reflexology for over 14 years.

A wide range of conditions are treated in the clinic. Areas of particular interest include fertility and pregnancy, stress management and pain management / sports injuries.

Before setting up Seapoint Health, Sinéad worked for many years in the corporate world, in top Fortune 500 companies in London and Dublin. Serious health issues of a family member prompted her to investigate therapies that worked alongside conventional medicine to help people to improve their health and feel better about themselves. Sinead studied Reflexology in 2006, and qualified as an acupuncturist in 2008, receiving her Licentiate Diploma at the Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine, China, where she studied and worked with eminent Chinese doctors.

Many physios now use acupuncture or dry needling in their practises, and Sinéad achieves excellent results combining both physio and acupuncture to reduce pain and improve function.
